The Scottish Borders branch operates on the border with England. We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Under the Sun cafe, 45-47 Roxburgh Street in Kelso. The 'forgathering' begins around 19:30 and for GPS users this cafe has a post code of TD5 7DS.

11^th At 19:30 a spanner night with Andy Minns of Border Bikes. Andy is prepared to bring a motorcycle along to go through the subtleties of chain adjustment and wheel alignment. Andy has asked for notice of other interesting topics so here we go:- • Chain adjustment. • Wheel alignment. • Front forks - how do they work and how should they be maintained? • Suspension adjustment - how do you know when it's right and how do you make adjustments? • Is it possible to place clamps on the suspension to restrict movement? • What does Andy see as the best improvement or new feature on motorcycles? • What are Andy's predictions on the future of motorcycling? • Electric motorbikes, are they practical? • How do we get in touch with the under 25s who are motorcyclists or motorbikers? 31^st National Exec meeting Share:
31^st First run of the new season. The aim will be to complete a run that we left unfinished at the end of last year. The purpose Jim is to 'boldly go' to Kielder and the biker gathering place. Ron did make a late run to the cafe and is keen to go again. The cake is very tempting! Meet at the cafe in Kelso for a 10:30 start. The cafe has been renamed as 'Cafe U' but the people are still the same. Share:

19^th to the 20^th The BMF Show at Peterborough. CMA have a large stand at this prestigious event and Bedford Branch will need assistance to make it work. Share:

15^th to the 17^th MAG Farmyard Party - an important event for CMA. Held at Duncombe Park Estate,Helmsley, North Yorkshire YO62 5EB Share:
22^nd to the 25^th As you may have guessed, this is the branch's long weekend away. We are now booked into the same hotel as last year. The Millcroft, at Gairloch, are looking forward to seeing us again. Perhaps this year we can take full advantage of the long hours of daylight with an extended ride. Another option is to take a thorough look at the eastern side of Scotland. Share:
