Scottish Borders

The Scottish Borders branch operates on the border with England. We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Under the Sun cafe, 45-47 Roxburgh Street in Kelso. The 'forgathering' begins around 19:30 and for GPS users this cafe has a post code of TD5 7DS.

5^th National Exec. Meeting
18^th to the 20^th Farmyard Party at Duncombe Park, Helmsley, North Yorkshire YO62, UK
18^th to the 20^th This is the big one. Another weekend away, this time based near Gairloch or Ullapool. Two nights in the same place and plenty of miles. 21st June is father’s day so consider spoiling yourselves and stay for 3 nights! At the moment we are guessing at accommodation for 12 people. Fraser-Galashiels and Heather are seeking out room solutions. You can join in on the Saturday morning if work or detentions prevent you from having ‘golden time’.

9^th to the 11^th BMF Rally at Kelso; hopefully this will include a HJ (holy Jimmy?) facility. I must remember to finish repairing the feather flag. I will also have to ask George Mackie to do a HJ presentation for us
10^th National Exec. Meeting
24^th The Devil's Bridge; Devil's bridge is a biker meeting place near Kirby Lonsdale. Kirby Lonsdale in east of Kendal on the A65. The old A6 is a grand road and Fraser-Galashiels has been volunteered to organise the route. Fraser fancies a fast pace but he has made no promises about the weather.

21^st Chris and Patrick a family day out; at the moment this is a mystery tour to everyone including Patrick and Chris! As soon as this event has a form you will know!

18^th National Exec. Meeting
18^th Brinkburn Priory with Heather in front; last year we missed the visiting season at the Priory and we got wet. 2010 will be very different. Don't even think of missing this run! Did you 'know' Ken is planning to avoid going to a wedding on this day? I think it's meant to be a surprise for his babe Fiona. Fiona now knows about Ken’s plans. Watch this space for updates and visiting times

2^nd Ride To The Wall. CMA will be joining in with this ride from Drayton Manor Theme Park, Tamworth B78 3TW to the National Memorial Arboretum, Croxall Rd., Alrewas, Staffs DE13 7AR to support our national memorial to our armed services.

17^th to the 19^th MAG Farmyard Party in North Yorkshire. This is a national CMA event with CMA covering Holy Joes and working as marshals.
