News From the Exec

1. CMA(UK) Handbook, Constitution and Rules have been distributed to the 'members' circulation list by e-mail and will be availabe on the web site under 'downloads'.
2. At the EMC at the beginning of August it was decided that the EMC in 2009 will be changed from the UK to the Czech Republic. CMA(UK) will host the 2010 EMC.
3. CMA youth badges are now available and should be distributed soon.
4. A policy has been agreed that a 3 year vision and strategy will be required from those standing for election as Branch Chairman. The document should contain an understanding of the National Strategy and how the candidate sees it working in the Branch area. They should also outline their goals and how they plan to achieve them.
5. Barrie Thompson has replaced Marshall Crowe as one of the three trustees of CMA. The others are Rob Urand and Paul Mitchell.
6. We are still awaiting offers from branches to host the February Leaders' Meeting and the 2009 AGM in April.

If anyone has any suggestions, comments or queries for the Exec. can I invite you to discuss them with me. I will attempt to answer points raised or refer them for discussion with other Exec. members.
