Run for the Son 2003
The cross is the symbol of our salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Christian Motorcyclists' Association represents motorcyclists from many different
Christian denominations and walks of life. Through this event, which took
place on Saturday 21st June, we want to make a difference.
This year we raised £5,725 for the charities that we are supporting:
- The Lighthouse Foundation
-
Based in Widnes and established in 1997, works in the front line both to combat and prevent drug abuse. It operates a drugs housing unit, and a multimedia presentation used in schools and colleges.

- The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation
-
Has funded and built the Roy Castle International Centre for Lung Cancer, and funds and operates many different projects.

- Motorcycles for Africa

Pastor Daniel Kitondekigya works from his Church in a village in Uganda. He heads a group of pastors who travel long distances to Sunday and other services. Our sponsorship will help make them more effective, by providing funds to buy motorcycles.
